Heritage Ottawa has asked Michael Chan, the Ontario Minister of Tourism and Culture to intervene to save the heritage buildings at Lansdowne Park. The Aberdeen Pavilion and the Horticultural Building, both designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, are under threat with the current development plan. The group urges the minister to take a stand on the word and spirit of the Ontario Heritage Act and intercede with the City of Ottawa.
