The news reports that are out today on Lansdowne legal developments may lead to confusion about the status of our legal efforts.

Let's be clear. There has been no court decision on the Friends of Lansdowne Legal Challenge. Our case is still before the Ontario Court of Appeal.

A second, separate lawsuit, launched by John Martin of the Lansdowne Conservancy, has been dismissed. This has nothing to do with the Friends of Lansdowne and has absolutely no impact on our case.

The Friends of Lansdowne appeal was heard by the Ontario Court of Appeal on November 28, 2011. We do not know when a decision will be rendered.

Please help us spread the word that our case has NOT been dismissed. If you hear people misinterpreting the situation, please help set them straight.
