Good news. The date is set for the Ontario Court of Appeal. Friends of Lansdowne' s appeal will be heard on Monday, November 28, 2011--probably in Toronto.

We are eager to make our case. Our grounds for appeal are solid and our legal team of Steven Shrybman and his colleagues from Sack Goldblatt Mitchell are ready to go. If we win, the current scheme will be stopped and the City will have to go back to an open, competitive and transparent process for revitalizing Lansdowne Park.

This is an important, complex and precedent-setting legal challenge about transparency and accountability at a municipal level.
